Given:

Arun got 72% marks.

To find:

The number of question asked.

Solution:

1) If Arun attempt 4 more questions then he got 84% when only 3 were correct out of 4.

2) The percentage increase is 12% but the number of right question is 3 only.

3) As there is no negative marking for the wrong question then,

  • 12% ---- 3
  • 1%  ----- 3/12
  • 100 ------ 100/4 which is 25.

The total number of question asked is 25.
