Then, according to question

House rent = x/10

Car repair = 2x/5

School fees = Rs15000

Other items = Rs21000

Left amount = Rs13000

Total of all the above mentioned amounts is equal to Arun's salary

So,

x = x/10 + 2x/5 + Rs15000 + Rs21000 + Rs13000

x = x/10 + 4x/10 + Rs49000

x = 5x/10 + Rs49000

x = x/2 + Rs49000

x - x/2 = Rs49000

2x/2 - x/2 = Rs49000

x/2 = Rs49000

x = 2 × Rs49000

x = Rs98000
