he has ₹ 3×1÷2 = 3/2

father gives him₹ 5×1÷4 = 5/2

Money lft with him :

 \frac{3}{2} - \frac{5}{4} \\ \\ = \frac{6}{4} - \frac{5}{4} \\ \\ = \frac{ 1}{4} \\ \\

Answer:

Money he has =3/2

Money he gave =5/4

Money left with him

3/2-5/4

Taking LCM of 2 and 4

We get 4 as the LCM

6/4-5/4

=1/4

Which can also be written as 0.25
