cost of 1 kg fish is 40 rs

so cost for 12000 kg fish = 12000 × 40

= 480000 rs

now after drying 1/3 rd of total fish remains

i.e. 1/3 × 12000

= 4000 kg of fish remains

selling price of fish is 200 rs per kg

so total selling price is = 200 × 4000

= 800000

so profit = 800000 - 480000

= 320000 rs

also she gives 890 rs for transportation

so actual profit is

320000 - 890

= 319110 rs

Step-by-step explanation:

Weight of fresh fish = 12000 kg

Price = Rs 40 / kg

Therefore total cost price of all the fresh fish

= Rs (12000×40). = Rs 480000

Now weight of dried fish = (1/3)×12000 kg

= 4000kg

Now selling at Rs 200 per kg

Her selling price = (4000×200) = 800000

Price for transportation = 890

Therefore she earns

= Rs (800000-480000-890)

= Rs 319110
