Answer:

36 {a}^{2} b + 24ab = 4ab(9a + 6) \\ 12ab(3a + 2) = 4ab(9a + 6) \\ \frac{3a + 2}{9a + 6} = \frac{4ab}{12ab} \\ \frac{3a + 2}{9a + 6} = \frac{ab}{3ab} \\ \frac{3a + 2}{9a + 6} - \frac{ab}{3ab} = 0 \\ \frac{(3a + 2)(3ab) - (ab)(9a + 6)}{(9a + 6)3ab} = 0 \\ \frac{9 {a}^{2}b + 6ab - (9 {a}^{2}b + 6ab) }{27 {a}^{2}b + 18ab } = 0 \\ \frac{9 {a}^{2}b + 6ab - 9 {a}^{2} b - 6ab }{27 {a}^{2}b + 18ab } = 0 \\ \frac{1}{27 {a}^{2}b + 18ab } = 0
