Arvind needs to lay 2 m long iron pipes vertically to fix fence wires in a garden 70 m long
and 50 m wide. If he laid the iron pipes 5 m apart, find the total length of the iron bought?​

Perimeter = 2(70 + 50)

= 2 * 120

= 240 m

Iron pipe to be laid 5 m apart  ( & rectangle is closed figure)

Hence number of pipes required = 240/5

= 48 Pipes

Pipe length = 2 m

Total Length of iron pipes to be bought = 48 * 2 = 96 m
