Aryan is 3 kg heavier than Bobby but 6kg lighter than Hina.The average weight of the three children is 30kg.What is the weight of bobby?​

Answer:

let Aryan's weight be x kg

then, bobby's weight = x-3 kg

and, hina's weight= x+6 kg

x+x-3+x+6=3*30

3x+3=90

3x=87

x=29 kg

Therefore, Bobby's weight=29-3 kg=26 kg

    Then, weight of Bobby :- y - 3

               weight of Hina :- y + 6

  • Average weight of three children = 30 kg

So, \frac{y+(y-3)+(y+6)}{3} = 30

 =    \frac{3y+3}{3}=30

 =   3y + 3 = 90  (cross multiplication)

        y = \frac{87}{3}

Value of y = 29

Weight of Bobby = y - 3

= 29 - 3 = 26kg

weight of Aryan:- 29kg, weight of Bobby:- 26kg, weight of Hina:- 35kg
