Answer:

Cost of one tea cup = Rs. 5, Cost of one coffee cup = Rs. 10

Step-by-step explanation:

Since, cost of 3 cups of coffee cost as much as 6 cups of tea, we can conclude that price of 1 cup of coffee = price of 2 cups of tea

Here, assume price of one cup of coffee = x

assume price of one cup of tea = y

so, we get x = 2y

Here, we have 4 cups of coffee and 4 cups of tea costing Rs. 60.

So, we get 4x + 4y = 60

substitute above value of x as 2y in above equation.

we get 4(2y) + 4y = 60

8y + 4y = 60

60 = 12y

Therefore, y = 5 (price of one cup of tea)

as we know from above, x = 2y

Therefore, x = 10 (price of one cup of coffee)
