As a citizen of democratic country what are your expatation from the political systam

My expectation from the political system is that everyone gets to be a part to represent the people and not only the family members of the present rulers as existing nowadays. A true leader is not the one with political connections but the one who has the ability to guide the people towards a glorious future.
