A letter to the Editor of a daily newspaper, expressing your views about the current lockdown situation
Explanation:
Mr. Ayush Verma.
Editor of Daily newspaper.
Kolkata,
Respected sir,
I hope this letter finds you in good health. I wanted to express my thought about the current situation in our country.
I am aware of the current pandemic of the world, and I support the lock down that is being applied in the country as it is saving us from many diseases. We should not leave our homes in this situation if not necessary as we all know this is for our best.
But many people in our country work on daily wages basis. If they won't go out they won't get money and won't have food. Without food how can their families survive this pandemic?
As you are the editor of the daily newspaper I think you can help aware the people of our country about how staying home is beneficial for them and you can also ask the government to do something about the needy people about what will they do if they won't go out and work? And you can also ask people to help the needy around them so that they won't have to go out on a daily basis and their family can survive this pandemic.
I hope you will consider my suggestion and do what is best for this country.

Subject - Views on lockdown situation.
Sir,
I am a citizen of India, highly concerned with raising a number of COVID infected patients day by day. The Lockdown imposed by the government, over the whole country seems good measure.
It has resulted in positive results, as cases have been controlled. But the problem lies with ignorant citizens, who do not follow lockdown.
They are not ready to isolate themself, making all the efforts of doctors, police and government in vain.
As the lockdown has good effects, the negative effects of it are being ignored, which is very disheartening. The plight of the poor, who are walking miles, with no choice to support themself, to travel to their home, is not ignorable.
The daily wage workers too are facing a number of problems because providing Rs. 500/- per month is not enough at all for their needs.
With that, non-availability of food and grocery, it seems big bane for all Indian citizens.
The biggest problem in handling the crisis by the government is, they did not manage the lockdown effectively. As no notice about the availability of essentials was announced.
The sudden announcement of any order causes panic among people, whose adverse effects were clearly visible.
Still, I completely support the lockdown and I urge each person to follow it.
Thank you,
Yours sincerely,
Neha.
