Answer:

(A government official who is supervising flood relief operation sees an old woman on the roof of her house and goes to her in a boat)

Government official: Hey, dear old woman here are some food items and water for you. How long have you been in this flood situation?

Flood victim: There seems to be no respite for us. All around us is water. The streets are flooded! The water level is rising threateningly! Only the tips of the gate are visible! We have been in this situation for more than a week.

Government official: Why did you not go the relief camp when the warning was announced?

Flood Victim: I took a wrong decision in staying back! I must have gone with the rescue team!

Government official: Did you incur any loss?

Flood victim: Yes, enormous loss. Two of my buffaloes were drowned. All my household articles have been damaged.

Government official: Don’t worry; the Government is going to pay you compensation for that. Now the flood water is going down fast. Situation will return to normalcy. Good day.

Flood victim: Thanks for the help.
