“Attorney General” can ‘participate in the proceedings’ of either “House of Parliament”.
The ‘Attorney General of India’ is the ‘Chief Legal Advisor’ to the Government of India and the Chief Advocate of the Government in the ‘Supreme Court of India’. The “President of India” appoints the Attorney General under the “article 76” of the Indian constitution.
The duty of the Attorney General of the country is to advise the Central Government in legal matters and to carry out the responsibilities of the legal process which is sent to the President on behalf of the President. Apart from this, they have to fulfill their work according to the constitution and any other law.
