As a pendulum swings from its highest to lowest position, what happens to its kinetic and potential energy?

when pendulum goes to extreme ends it experiences high potential energy and less kinetic energy . where as , when it is at rest of the point it experiences high kinetic energy and less potential energy . But , when it is perpendicular to ground the K.E = P.E
