As a ruler, how would you utilise the skill of tribal people in your region?
Answers
Tribal people are a group of distinct people who are dependent on their land for livelihood, who are almost self-sufficient and are not integrated into the national society. As a result of continuous immersion in nature for thousands of years tribal people are attuned to the subtle cues of the natural world. They know how to hunt wild animals, gather roots and berries, sense changes in climate, and predict the movement of ice sheets, the flowering seasons of fruit trees and the return of migrating birds. They are skilled in tracking, navigation and husbandry. They know how to adapt to the environment and live a healthy, self-sufficient and happy life.
A ruler can utilize these abilities and skills of the tribal people for the advancement of the region he rules. He can involve the tribal people in the tasks of tracking, predicting, navigation and husbandry and benefit from their knowledge of the environment.
