As altitude increases, what happens to air pressure? It fluctuates. It increases. It decreases. It stays the same.

At high attitude, the air pressure will decreases because the air pressure at any level can be measured by the total weight of the air above a unit at any elevation.

At the higher altitude, air molecules will be decreases because most of the air molecules are present near the earth surface because of the gravity motion.

So it is natural that at high altitude the air pressure will be decreased.
