Because he was very enterprising child who used to make full use of oppurtunities that came his way.During the war, when the trains halt at Rameswaram was suspended, so bundles of newspapers were thrown off moving trains and haspd to be collected. Samsudin who used to distribute newspapers , give kalam work of catching bundles from moving trains.Thus , he was able to earn his first wages. he was extremeley happy to earn money by himself. The incident shows that he was very enterprising
