With due regards and respect I wish to say that I am a resident of this city and being a responsible citizen of this country i want to draw your and public attention towards a issue.

Air pollution is increasing day by day and has become a very issue. We are not caring about that but it may be very dangerous for us. For reducing pollution we should plant more and more trees, use public transport, use CNG vehicles, have mechanism to reduce pollutants from the industrial smoke. We should also aware people regarding it.

I hope people will follow the steps for their own safety as it is concerned to our health.

Subject: Concern about the increase in air pollution.

Dear Sir / Ma’am,

I am an eco-journalist and presently taking care of New Delhi region. I regret to say that the air pollution level of the city has increased enormously. Such a scenario is an alarming situation and we need to take strict action in order to reduce the pollution level.

Few imperative suggestions to reduce air pollution are-

• Cease the industries which are not abiding with the law and emitting smoke which are hazardous to nearby residents.

• Battery operated public means of transport should be encouraged.

• People should be educated and should know the repercussions of increasing air pollution.

• The general public should be encouraged to use share cabs or taxi’s if travelling to commonplace.

• The use of battery-operated cars and two-wheelers should be advertised among people.

• The plantation of trees in various places should be increased and impose a penalty on those who are found guilty.

Hope, above few points, will help to reduce the air pollution level. As an habitant of earth, it is our duty to save our mother earth.
