  • Density =mass/volume
  • mass =1300-250=1050gm
  • volume =1000ml=1000cc(cubic centimeter
  • density =1050÷1000=1.05g/cc

The density of liquid is 1.05 g/mL

Explanation:

We are given:

Mass of container, m_1 = 250 g

Mass of container + liquid, m = 1300 g

Mass of liquid = (m-m_1)=(1300-250)g=1050g

To calculate density of a substance, we use the equation:

\text{Density of substance}=\frac{\text{Mass of substance}}{\text{Volume of substance}}

We are given:

Mass of liquid = 1050 g

Volume of liquid = 1000 mL

Putting values in above equation, we get:

\text{Density of liquid}=\frac{1050g}{1000mL}\\\\\text{Density of liquid}=1.05g/mL
