My family and I are a bunch of wanderlusts. Each break we get we set out traveling. I have visited a lot of places over the years but the memorable vacation I have is my visit to my grandparent’s place. My grandparents live in a remote village far from the madding crowd. Electricity is scarce there.
We have to reach the house by bullock carts only. But the beauty of the place lies in its pastoral landscape. It is a totally agrarian village. The morning milk is fresh from Grandfather’s diary. There is no dearth in fresh cheese and egg. Ponds are the ideal fishing haunts. There is no industrial pollution. Peace is never destroyed by the cacophony of unwanted sound.
The morning begins with the sound of birds singing. Animals of all shapes and sizes scamper about unhindered. Trees are laden with ripe juicy fruits. The smell of the soil is so fresh. So the two weeks I had spent with my grandparents had slipped like two hours. Never can I forget that beautiful vacation.
