Adverb phrases are phrases that tell us how an action is being done. In these types of phrases questions such as what, where, how, why, and when, are usually answered. Remember that these are adverb phrases and not adverbs so they do not follow the same structure as a regular adverb. Hence you will see changes that are completely different from the original word such as in sentence (4) where occasionally is replaced with now and then, or in sentence (6) where immediately is replaced with right now. Your task for these kinds of exercises is to remove the adverb from the sentence and not reanswer it with -ly. Using your knowledge of words you will be able to answer these questions very easily.
