as long as electron remains in an Orbit it is not EMIT or absorb energy. when does it emit or absorb energy?

  • After absorbing energy electron become excited and transit to higher energy level ! It emit energy during transition from higher energy level to lower energy in the form of photon ! Hence losing its energy on its way back!
