As observed from the top of a 100 m high light house from the sea level, the angle of depression of two ships are 30° and 45°.if one ship is exactly behind the other on the same Sid eof the light house, find the distance between the two ships

tan45 => p/b = 1 = 75/ BD SO, BD= 75 m.
tan 30 => p/b = 1/√3 = 75/BC . SO, BC= 75√3m.
SO, BC - BD = 75√3 - 75 = 75(√3-1)
