Solution: At present, the total number of articles in the Constitution of India is 469.
Without counting 35 A, 338 B and 342 A, the total number would be 466. In 1949, when the Constitution of India was drafted, it had 395 articles.
Since then, 103 articles were added before 101st amendment Act with 35 repealed articles in the total of 498.
