As per March 2017, how many Lok Sabha seats are reserved for :

a) Scheduled Caste (SC) ?

b) Scheduled Tribe (ST) ?

I want the most up - to - date answer & not the numbers mentioned in NCERT textbook.

a) 79 seats are reserved for Scheduled caste in Lok Sabha .

b) 40 seats are reserved for Scheduled tribes in Lok Sabha .
