Let the savings of the person be X.

ATQ,

1/3rd of the savings goes to wife= (1/3)X

Rest of the savings after deducting the wife's part= X- X/3= 2X/3

5/12th of the rest goes to two sons each= (5/12)×(2X/3)= 5X/18

Deducting the part of both the sons, the rest amount= (2X/3)- 2(5X/18)= X/9

This rest amt is given to the daughter which is equal to 50000.

Therefore,

X/9= 50000

=>X= 450000

Hence, the total worth of the assets will be Rs. 450000.
