Dear Apoorva,

I hope this letter finds you with the best of your health. I received your letter yesterday and I am glad to know that your school session has started after summer vacations and you are working hard from the very first day. I have made some new friends here in the last two months but I miss you a lot.  

You have asked me in your letter about my sports day that was held on the 15th of September in our school. The school was decorated beautifully with flowers and balloons on that day. Our Principal of the school was the chief guest. She raised the flag with the national anthem and declared the sports day open.  

I participated in two events and won the second prize in the 100 meter race. My class fellows took part in various games like high jump, long jump, relay race and various other races. There were some team events as well like football, volleyball and tug of war. The chief guest gave the medals to the winners. I with my friends enjoyed a lot. It was indeed a day of great joy for us.

Dear sister,

Parents and I are fine here. How are you? I want to write about the sports day event that took place in my school last week. The sports day was a blast. I almost won all the competition that took place for junior level. I ran, long jumped, went huddle and threw shot put.

I was very dizzy after all the competition, I thought my head would explode. I was asking mother to take me home but I couch stopped me and asked me to wait for few minutes. I was waiting and later, they called the winners to the stage. I went to the stage almost all the time which made me and mom very happy.

I want you to visit us soon, so I can show you all the prizes I got.
