I have two suggestions:

No sooner was her song over than I knew (that) she had won the competition.

No sooner did she finish her song than I knew (that) she had won the competition.

arifnawab: I hope it's correct.
Anonymous: go for the first one .. its safe because finish is not there in the question .. both are correct but council checkers have only one answer in their answer key.

No sooner was her song over than I knew that she had won the competition.

DETAILS :

The question involved changing of "as soon as" to "no sooner than".

The meaning should not change.

The grammar should be correct .

Eg :

As soon as I saw him , i ran away.

No sooner did I see him than I ran away.
