As the country is under lockdown for four weeks to combat the corona virus, we would like

to hear from you. How are you and your family coping with staying at home? How are you managing your

work? What are the changes you notice in your society or neighbourhood? Please document and send us your

experience of the lockdown - whether it is a captioned photograph, write-ups (no more than 150 words)

As all of you know the entire world is going through tough times on account of COVID 19 pandemic. This pandemic has left a morbid trail of death and affliction in almost all countries of the world. All the nations are under a period of lockdown. Right now when I am recording my message of hope, count Coronavirus cases across the world has reached 3,320,599; 234,393 people have succumbed to the fatal virus across the world.

In India, our motherland the Cornovirus cases stand at 35,043. We too are under lockdown. This lockdown under the looming shadow of the pandemic appears to be devoid of all hope. People are without jobs; there is no prospect of situation getting better, millions of people are unemployed.

I along with my family is also confined within the four walls of my house. Since the entire family is together the stress has been divided. It is a kind of vacation. The roads are empty; only police and corona warriors move here and there to enforce lockdown or for reaching out to the needy people.

Most of the people in neighborhood remain within their houses. They abide by the instructions released by the Government. The environment has become purer and clearer in the absence of vehicles, factories, etc.

Thus, the lockdown has brought along both bad and good things.
