the story two gentlemen of verona' taught us an important lesson of love, faith and trust . one can't even imagine to have such hardworking children. usually, children of their age are innocent with free spirits. their main aim is playing and merry making but the two brothers were totally different. there was seriousness in both the boys which was far beyond their age.
what struck one was their willingness to work . during summers they sold fruits, shine shoes, hawked newspapers and guided tourists . they were even ready to work at midnight . the money they earned was never spent on themselves . tthey dressed shabbily and ate black bread and figs bcause they were saving money for the treatment of their sister- lucia who was suffering from TB of spine . they admitted her in an expensive hospital and paid bills regularly.
once, these boys belonged to a noble family and lived a comfortable life but war destroyed their family .. they were forced to live in streets. but these boys gathered themselves and supported their elder sister. in this age, when no one cares, these boys shared a great bond of love. this is a true eg. in which one can see love, faith and trust...
