It is not always that youngers have to learn from elders. There are number of things elders can learn from youngers. My recent visit to Verona in Italy has been such a great learning experience for me. There I met two boys , Nicola & Jacopo , aged 13 and 12. I saw them doing a number of odd jobs. They sold fruits, Shine shoes, house newspapers , ran errands and showed the visitors round the town. They worked hard day and night and earned a sufficient amount of money. But they spent almost nothing on themselves. They wore worn out clothes and they ate the cheapest kind of food. I wonder what they did with all the money that they earned. One day I offered to drive them to a place where they wanted to go. There I came to know that the two boys had an elder sister who was laid to bed with tuberculosis of the spine. The two boys spent all their earnings on the treatment of their sister. I felt a shiver down my spine on hearing the story of the supreme sacrifice. It was to me a lesson of love , faith and trust that I learnt from the two young boys of Verona.
