First of all I would like to thank all other students in our Residents

Welfare Association for planning a painting competition on children's day.

Being an old member of the students wing, I would like to suggest a few

steps which would make this painting competition a grand success. The steps

are -

1. Conducting a small holy prayer before the competition.

2. Instead of keeping a single theme, we should let the children paint

anything of their choice.

3. Arrangement for snacks will make the children happy and justify our

entry fees for the competition.

4. Judges should be from senior citizens wing of our residents welfare

association. Calling judges from outside will hurt their feelings.

5. We must keep a buffer stock of drawing paper, paint, brush, crayons etc

to avoid any goof-ups during the painting competition.

6. It would be wonderful if one of us prepare a speech on children's day

and its importance
