AS WE ALL KNOW THAT EARTH HAS ITS GRAVITATIONAL FIELD AND SUN HAS ITS GRAVITATIONAL FIELD SO SUN HAS ATTRACTED EVERY PLANET TOWARDS IT AS WE ALL KNOW!!
BUT AS SUN CANT PULL EARTH BECAUSE EARTH HAS ITS GRAVITATIONAL FIELD THAT MAKES EARTH STATIONARY AT ITS POSITION BUT MY QUESTION IS IF SUN AND EARTH ARE PULLING EACH OTHERS TOWARDS IT SO EARTH SHOULD REMAIN STATIONARY AT ITS POSITION?? AS THEY BOTH ARE PULLING EACH OTHERS BUT AS WE ALL KNOW THAT EARTH KEEPS MOVING SO I JUST WANT TO KNOW THAT WHAT MAKES EARTH MOVES FROM ITS POSITION? AS ITS SHOULD REMAIN STATIONARY BECAUZ SUN IS ATTRACTING IT TOWARDS IT BUT IT KEEPS ON MOVING IN ELLIPTICAL ORBIT??
MY QUESTION IS JUST WHAT MAKES EARTH KEEPS ON MOVING FROM ITS POSITION??
PLEASE TELL I WILL DEFINITELY MARK U AS BRAINLIST BUT RIGHT ANSWER PLEASE!!

Answer:

The reason is the gravitational pull of sun is more than earth. It is holding the planets togethar and so as it can't pull towards itself the cohesion of the forces make earth rotate around sun.
