Question

As we all know, that Petrol, Diesel, LPG, CNG, have moderate calorific value and on the other side Hydrogen, Methane etc have high calorific value. So why do we use LPG, CNG etc instead of Hydrogen and Methane?

hydrogen is explosive in nature and methane is not environment friendly.it produces CO2 on burning on the other side LPG,CNG are environment friendly gases very little pollution is caused by the burning of LPG and CNG they are easy to compress and transport with high safety all these properties make them good fuels to use.

hydrogen has 3 times more calorific value than cng etc it will burn your house
