As we all know that same charges repel each other but in some atoms like lithium ,there are 3 protons 3 neutrons packed together. how is this possible ?

yes we know that same charges repel each other but in case of lithium as we know some total of proton and neutron is atomic mass and the proton and neutron contradict each other they maintain neutrality as neutron has no charge
