As we move scale away from the wall towards bulb, why its shadow becomes diffused?

Answer: Shadow are made by blocking light. Light rays travel from a source in straight lines. If an opaque (solid) object gets in the way, it stops light rays from traveling through it. In case of bulb 90 or 45 degree from bulb after this it becomes diffused
