Answer:

As white Siberian Cranes cross narrow strips of water during migration, they bunch together to form huge flocks.

Explanation:

Siberian cranes also known as snow cranes, are found predominantly in the Arctic Tundra region of east and west Russia. During winters, the east Russian population of snow cranes migrates to China, while the west Russian population of the snow cranes migrates to Iran and India. They cover the longest distance among the cranes. They are in the status of 'critically endangered' as per the IUCN red data book.

Although they are spread across a vast area during the breeding season, they are very territorial.  They maintain their territories for feeding during winters and are highly diurnal in nature. Although they mainly subsist on plants, they are omnivores.
