Virtual classes have been a life-saviour for all of us in these unprecedented times. Although, there are pro and cons of digital education, I would like to highlight the positives first-

1. Virtual classes saved commuting time for all those who were preparing for competitive exams.
2. Virtual classes enabled innovative methods of learning and at times, I do feel that smart board teaching is better than teaching on the black board because there is more room for creativity.
3. Due to online classes, we had the opportunity of giving regular quizzes and tests, which, otherwise would not have been the case.

Considering the negative side-

1. We cannot ignore the fact that majority of the students live in rural areas where there is barely any access to internet facilities.
2. Connectivity issues act as a barrier to the learning process.
3. Online exams are not fool-proof and are not taken seriously by most of the students.
