As You Sow So Shall You Reap
‘As you sow so shall you reap’ is a famous axiom that the wise people, teachers, and parents often quote to instill in the minds of children to work hard and be righteous in their deeds. It is quite true. It is a universal truth that we get from life what we sow in it. Actually life is like a big field, and all of us are farmers in it. our future is the direct outcome of what and how we sow the seeds of character, right attitude, perseverance, utilization of the time and opportunities given to us, and finally how industrious and sincere we had been in carrying out our responsibilities.
Let’s take the example of two boys for illustration. One boy is quite sincere. He studies hard and optimally uses his time in learning skills at school. There is another boy who is opposite of the first boy in all aspects. He loves pleasure. He just wants to have fun. Studies and skills learning don’t fascinate him. One can easily predict their future. The former will enjoy success and the latter will have regrets. The former boy sowed well and harvested a plentiful harvest. The latter boy did not sow well, and life will not yield him harvest.
All the great personages such as Booker T Washington, Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther, Albert Einstein, and Louis Pasteur, Helen Keller etc. sowed well and reaped the abundant harvest of successes. They taught us how to sow well. So we must sow well in order to reap well.
