As young children in the boarding school, there were many things that we were not allowed to do.

We could not watch television after 8 p.m. Very often our house master, Mr. Harold, would say,

"No, you may not!" He felt that watching television was a sheer waste of time. When it came to

useful things, Mr. Harold gave us his full support.

One day, I said, "Sir, we want to raise money for charity. Would you help us to put up a play?" His

prempt reply was, "Yes, of course I will!" I remember that, together we put up the play 'Charlie and

the Chocolate Factory' and it was a great success.
