Let after x years Asalam will be only 3 times older than Akram :-

Akram age after x yrs = 6 + x

Asalam age after x yrs = 30 + x

Asalam will be 3 times older than Akram

3 ( 6 + x ) = 30 + x

18 + 3x = 30 + x

18 + 3x - x = 30

18 + 2x = 30

2x = 30 - 18

2x = 12

x = 12/2

x = 6

After 6 years Asalam will be 3 times older than Akram .
