ASEAN stands for the Association of Southeast Asian Na-
tions, an organization of eight countries: Brunei Darus-
salam, Indonesia, China, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore,
Australia, and Thailand. It is designed to bring about
mutual cooperation and stimulate solidarity among its
members. The chief interest of the ASEAN is to organize
cooperative stores among the masses. ASEAN, which was

Objectives
