sexual reproduction, fusion of male and female gamete takes place. So, mixing of genetic trait occurs in sexual reproduction. In asexual reproduction, there is no fusion of male and female gamete and offspring develops from single parent because of which offspring is exact copy of parent and inherit same genetic traits.
