Answer:

Quantity of milk bought= 20 l

Cost per l= Rs. 30

∴ Amount spent to buy the milk= Rs. (20×30)= Rs. 600

Amount spent to get it churned= Rs. 40

∴ Total amount spent by Asha= Rs. (600+40)= Rs. 640

Quantity of cream obtained= 5 kg

Cost per kg= Rs. 100

∴ Amount obtained= Rs. (5×100)= Rs. 500

Quantity of toned milk obtained= 20 l

Cost per l= Rs. 15

∴ Amount obtained= Rs.(20×15)= Rs. 300

∴Total amount obtained= Rs. (500+300)= Rs. 800

∴ Profit= Rs. (800-640)= Rs. 160

∴ Profit percentage= Profit/Cost Price × 100= 160/640 × 100= 25%
