" 1 : 3"

Explanation:

Old Profit Sharing Ratio of Asha, Nisha and Reena is 2 : 2 : 1 ; Reena retires,

New Profit Sharing Ratio of Asha and Nisha is 2 : 1

To Calculate the Formulae of Gaining Ratio is

                  Gaining Ratio = New Ratio - Old Ratio

Therefore,

          Asha    = 2/3 - 2/5 = 10-6/15 = 4/15

        Nisha    = 1/3 - 2/5 = 5-6/15 = -1/15

        Reena    = 3/3 - 1/5 = 15-3/15 = 12/15

  So, the Gaining Ratio is 4 : 12 i.e, 1 : 3

      Here Asha and Reena has to sacrifice profit to Nisha as the partners

         ratio is -1/15
