Total amount = 700

Let the share of Asheesh be x.
=> Share of Suresh = 3x

Now, according to the statement of the question,
Sum of the share of Asheesh and the share of Suresh = 700
Substituting the values we assumed at the beginning,
x + 3x = 700
Performing simple addition,
=> 4x = 700
Shifting 4 from LHS to RHS,
=> x = 700 / 4
Performing simple division,
=> x = 175

Hence,
Asheesh have 175 and Suresh has ( 3 * 175 ) i.e. 525

y = 3x ........(2)

Putting y = 3x in equation (1)

x + y = 700

x + 3x = 700

4x = 700

x = 700/4

Put x = 175 in equation (1)

x + y = 700

y = 525

Hence, Asheesh has 175 rupees and Suresh has 525 rupees.
