Given :- Asher spends 30% of his income on education and 50% of the remaining on food. he gives rs. 1000 as monthly rent and now has rs. 1800 left with him. what is his monthly income ?

Answer :-

Let Monthly income of asher is Rs.100x .

so,

→ Asher spends on education = 30% of 100x = (100x * 30)/100 = Rs.30x .

then,

→ Asher have remaining amount = 100x - 30x = Rs.70x .

now,

→ 50% of remaining on food = 50% of 70x = Half = Rs.35x .

then,

→ Left = Rs.35x

A/q,

→ 35x - 1000 = 1800

→ 35x = 1800 + 1000

→ 35x = 2800

→ x = (2800/35)

→ 100x = (2800 * 100)/35 = Rs.8000 (Ans.)
