current age of mother=y years

y = 3x

(y-10) = 5(x-10)

y-10 = 5x-50

Putting y=3x,

3x-10 = 5x-50

2x = 40

x = 20

Therefore , y = 60

So,Ashima's age after 5 yrs = 25 yrs

Her Mother's age after 5 yrs = 65 yrs
