Ashish bought 120 chairs at 440 rupees per chair, out of which 30
chairs were sold at Rs 60 per chair, 75 chairs for Rs 80 per chair and
on the remaining chairs Rs 36 per chair loss, what is the average
profit per chair?​

1. First of all, Find the Cp (Cost Price) of 120 chairs bought by Ashish.

Cp = 120*440 = 52800/-

2. Find the respective Selling price according to their Profits.

Given that, 30 Chairs sold at 60 rupees Profit, so

the selling price of 30 Chairs = 30*(440+60)=15000,

75 Chair sold at 80 rupees Profit, Sp of 75 Chair= 75*(440+80)=39000,

and remaining chairs left is 120-(30+75)=15 Chairs

which is sold at loss of 36 per chair

so the selling price of remaining chairs is 15*(440-36)= 6060,

3. Now Total the Selling price = 60060.

4. Now Find the Avg Profit for total number of chair that is 120

60060/120= 500.5

so the average Profits of total 120 Chairs is 500.5 rupees.
