He spent Rs. 8000 on Monday , got Rs. 5000 as pocket money on Tuesday , gave Rs. 1000 loan to a friend on Wednesday, bought 100 ice creams worth Rs. 10 each on Thursday, received a reward of Rs. 5000 from his grandfather on Friday. If Ashish had to pay the loan of Rs. 10,000. Can he pay the loan at the end of the week? If yes, then what money will he be left with after that? If not, how much more money does he need?

Ashish have with him= Rs.20000

He spent on Monday = Rs.(20000-8000)=Rs.12000

He got pocket money on Tuesday =Rs.(12000+5000)

=Rs.17000

On Wednesday he gave loan to his friend =Rs.(17000-1000)

=Rs.16000

On Thursday he purchase ice-cream =Rs.(16000-100×10)

=Rs.(16000-1000)

=Rs.15000

On Friday grand father gave a reward to him

=Rs.(15000+5000)

=Rs.20000

Now, Ashish have to pay a loan of Rs.10000

=Rs.(20000-10000)

=Rs.10000

Hence,it is yes that money will left with him that is Rs.10000.
