Ashish lent Rs 10500 to sudha at 7% per annum simple interest. after 5years, Sunidhi discharged the debt by giving a watch and Rs 13000 in cash. what it is value of the watch

si = p×r×t/100
si= 10500×7×5/100
si=525×7==3675

so amount to paid = 10500+3675=14175

but he paid cash + watch
13000+watch=14175
watch=1175 rs ..

Given,

Principal=10500

Time=5yrs

Rate=7%p.a.

S.I.= P.R.T./100

10500*7*3/100

₹3675

Amount=10500+3675=14175

Cost of watch= 14175-13000

=₹1175
